Overview
Meet at 9:00am at the Hub Café, Woburn St, Ampthill, Bedford MK45 2HX, for a walk in parkland and woodland. Parking is available near the café but also along Woburn Street or in Ampthill Park Car Park, where parking charges may apply: Woburn Rd, Ampthill, Bedford.
Please note that the Park is on the crest of the Greensand Ridge and Capability Brown has added features, this is not a flat walk! Paul knows the park really well and usually takes us off well-beaten tracks to less visited areas. The walk is likely to be about 3 miles and take 3 hours.
We will bring our mobile tea and coffee bar to save queuing but refreshments will also be available at the café at the end of the walk.
