About Bedfordshire Bird Club

The Bedfordshire Bird Club (BBC) brings together bird enthusiasts to record and celebrate the county’s avifauna. Founded in 1992 and run entirely by volunteers, the club is part of the Bedfordshire Natural History Society (BNHS).

We organise year-round walks and talks for bird lovers of all levels. Walks, led by knowledgeable members, explore top birding sites in the Bedfordshire or surrounding counties; they are usually at weekends, with occasional midweek evening strolls. From September to March, monthly talks cover a wide range of bird-related topics, held at Maulden Village Hall or on Zoom.

Membership is open to everyone, whether you live in Bedfordshire or further afield. Annual subscriptions support the club’s work and activities.
