Scarce passage migrant, occurring every year since 1988. (Red list).
There was a single winter record, with one at Grovebury SP on 11th February. Unusually there were no spring records. The autumn passage began with one at Broom East on 29th June, followed by eight at Broom South Quarry on 4th July, three over Broom East on 9th July, one there on 11th July and two there on 21st July. In August, one was at Grovebury SP on the 1st, two were at MCP Wetlands NR on the 11th, one was at Broom East on the 14th and one was at MCP Wetlands NR on the 31st. Two were at Broom East on 1st September and the last of the year was one at Meadow Lane GP on 9th September.
