Common passage migrant, scarce breeder and winter visitor. (Amber list).

The only evidence of attempted breeding activity was a pair mating at Broom East on 7th May and a pair displaying at Broom South Quarry on 19th May.

The first of the year was one at Meadow Lane GP on 6th January, followed by two at Houghton Conquest on 27th January. The largest counts of the year were all from Harrowden  WM, with 11 on 24th–30th March, nine on 1st–3rd April, ten on 25th April and seven on 1st May. The last of the year was one at Meadow Lane GP on 29th December.
