The first for the year was one at Broom East on 19th March. During April, there were singles at Grovebury SP on the 13th, Dunstable WTW on the 17th, Broom South Quarry on the 17th–18th and Grovebury SP on the 23rd and 28th. Autumn passage began with one at Broom South Quarry, with presumably the same at Broom East, on 16th July. In August, there were singles at Broom South Quarry on the 2nd, over Houghton Brook Pools on the 3rd, Broom South Quarry and Broom GP on the 18th, Broom East on the 27th and Broom South Quarry on the 31st. In September, there was one at Grovebury SP on the 3rd and one at Broom South Quarry on the 4th–6th. There were no multiple counts, reflecting the decline of this once familiar migrant in the county.
