Very rare migrant – 12 records 1946–2018.

Two in first-winter plumage were found in September, one on 21st at Brogborough Lake (SCB et al.) that stayed until 22nd (according to the windsurfers it had been present since the 20th) whilst one was found at Grovebury SP on 22nd (JPL et al.) that stayed until 30th September. These were the first records since 2016.
