Scarce migrant, recent increase in records. (Amber list).

There were two records of this increasingly occurring autumn migrant. The first was found along the cycle track at Willington on 13th October and remained until the 16th (PG), with the second at Biggleswade Common from 26th–27th October (MG).

In keeping with the increasing national trend of birds being found inland and away from coastal hotspots, there have now been 22 county records of this charismatic species.
