Overview
Tomorrow is our first working party at Broom East following an access agreement with the site owners and tenants. We have a small window of opportunity to improve the site before the breeding season.
I will be there from 10.00 am. Please park considerately so that as many people as possible can fit in (I hope!)
If you could kindly bring along any manual hand tools to assist, rakes, shears, loppers, secateurs, etc. that would be great. We want to try and clear as much shrubbage from the breeding areas as possible and remove willow scrub.
Also please note we will be asking everyone to sign in and out and to confirm they are members of either BNHS and/or Bird Club as required under our agreement with the site owners and tenant. If you haven‘t renewed yet, you can do so online here : https://bedsbirdclub.org.uk/membership/
