Overview
We are delighted to be invited to join RSPB Group members at this new venue for the Dawn Chorus. We are hoping for lots of warblers, waders and wetland species.
The weather looks pretty good and with luck the early birds among us will be rewarded with not worms but bird song at this special time of the day. We will be visiting Stewartby Lake and Rookery North. This is a fabulous site for many of our breeding bird species including Nightingales and a range of other warblers.
We expect the walk to end between 7.30 and 8.00 am, and for those that wish to join us, we will be having breakfast afterwards at the Brewers Fayre restaurant next to the Premier Inn in Kempston (MK42 7FY). We expect the cost of the full breakfast, including tea/coffee, to be £10.99 pp.
Addional Information
If you need further encouragement the walk will be followed by breakfast at The Brewers Fayre at Bedford South on A421, Bedford South Brewers Fayre Pub Restaurant in Kempston, Bedfordshire. So early birds will catch a full English at the end!
