Overview

Sandy Smith is a delightful reserve sitting on the Greensand Ridge, Cuckoo, Barn Owl, Little Owl are all regular sightings on previous Walks and with the expertise of our friends from BNHS we are likely to be able to identify, orchids, moths and other insects. Often towards the end of the walk, as dusk begins to fall, there is an emergence of Summer Chafers which can bring in  an impressive display of raptors. A Walk not to be missed. We will have the mobile coffee shop and there are no facilities.

The route is on established tracks and there are a steady inclines in places.
